What Are Coupons?
From time to time, we offer promotional coupon codes that give you a percentage or fixed-amount discount on InstantInvoice purchases. These coupons are temporary and have specific rules depending on your account type.
Coupons can be shared through surveys, emails, social media, or special promotions. Each coupon has its own terms — including how long it lasts, what it applies to, and how many times it can be used.
How Coupons Work
If you have an active Pro subscription (monthly or yearly), coupons are applied directly to your Stripe subscription.
- The discount is automatically applied to your next billing cycle.
- Most coupons apply once — to your very next bill only.
- Some coupons may apply for multiple months. We'll tell you when you receive one.
- You can only have one active coupon on your subscription at a time.
If you buy credit packs (watermark removal, payment buttons, or bundles), you can use coupon codes at checkout.
- Enter the coupon code on the Stripe checkout page before paying.
- The discount applies to that single purchase only.
- Each coupon code can typically be used once per account.
Important Rules
- Coupons are temporary. Every coupon has an expiration date. Once expired, it cannot be used or reactivated.
- One coupon at a time. If you already have a discount on your subscription, a new coupon will replace the existing one.
- Non-transferable. Coupons are tied to the account they are issued to and cannot be transferred to another user.
- Cannot be combined. Coupons cannot be stacked with other promotions or discounts unless explicitly stated.
- No cash value. Coupons have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any coupon promotion at any time without prior notice.
Duration & Expiry
Coupons fall into three categories based on how long the discount lasts:
Once
Applies to your next bill only, then expires automatically.
Multi-month
Applies for a set number of billing cycles (e.g. 3 months).
Forever
Rare — lasts as long as your subscription stays active.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where do I enter a coupon code?
For new purchases, enter the code on the Stripe checkout page. If you're an existing Pro subscriber and receive a coupon through a survey or promotion, it may be applied to your subscription automatically.
Can I use a coupon after subscribing?
Yes. If you receive a coupon while you already have an active Pro subscription, we can apply it to your next billing cycle. Some promotions do this automatically.
What if my coupon isn't working?
Make sure the code is entered correctly and hasn't expired. If it still doesn't work, email us at [email protected] and we'll help.
Do coupons work on yearly plans?
Yes. Percentage-based coupons work on both monthly and yearly plans. The discount is calculated on the total amount of that billing cycle.
Can I get a refund if I forgot to use my coupon?
We can't retroactively apply coupons to past payments, but if your coupon is still valid, contact us and we'll apply it to your next bill.
