Business & Clients
Save your business details and client list so you don't have to type them out every time you create an invoice. Once saved, they auto-fill whenever you start a new invoice or estimate.
Set up your business
Your business info appears at the top of every invoice you create. Here's how to save it:
- Go to your Dashboard.
- Click the Business tab in the sidebar.
- Fill in your business name, email, phone number, and address.
- Click Save.
Next time you create a new invoice with Invoice Generator, your saved business details will be pre-filled automatically. However, invoices created before saving the business details from dashboard will be the same as before. Changing business details from invoice generator also works and updates your business details.
Add your logo
You can upload a logo from two places:
- Dashboard → Business tab — upload your logo in the business profile form. It will appear on all future invoices.
- Invoice form — click the logo area at the top of the invoice form to upload an image directly while editing.
Supported formats are PNG, JPG, and SVG. Keep your logo under 2 MB for the best results.
Add clients
There are two ways to add a client:
From the Dashboard
- Go to your Dashboard and click the Clients tab.
- Click Add Client.
- Enter the client's name, email, phone, and address.
- Click Save.
From the invoice form
While creating an invoice in the Invoice Generator, use the client selector dropdown in the "Bill To" section. You can pick an existing client or type in new details. New clients you enter here are saved automatically for next time.
Manage clients
To view, edit, or delete clients, go to your Dashboard and open the Clients tab.
- Search — use the search bar to find a client by name or email.
- Edit — click on a client to update their details.
- Delete — remove a client you no longer work with. This won't affect invoices already sent to them.
Use clients in invoices
When you create a new invoice or estimate, the client selector shows all your saved clients. Start typing a name and it filters the list. Select a client and their info fills in automatically.
This saves time and helps keep your invoices consistent — no more mistyped email addresses or outdated phone numbers.
