How Credits Work

1. Credit Allocation

When you purchase a credit pack, the credits are immediately added to your account. Each Watermark Removal pack provides 4 credits that can be used for:

  • Creating Invoices: Each credit allows you to create one additional invoice beyond the free tier limit.
  • Sending Emails: Each credit allows you to send one additional email beyond the free tier limit.
  • Watermark-Free Downloads: Credits used after your free tier is exhausted provide watermark-free PDFs.

2. Free Tier + Credits

Your free account includes 2 invoices and 3 emails (with InstantInvoice watermark). When you purchase credits:

  • Your total invoice limit becomes: 2 (free) + 4 (credits) = 6 invoices
  • Your total email limit becomes: 3 (free) + 4 (credits) = 7 emails
  • Free tier invoices will have a watermark; credited invoices are watermark-free

3. Credit Consumption

Credits are consumed based on the action you take:

  • Download a PDF: 1 credit is deducted EVERY time you download a watermark-free PDF. Downloading the same invoice multiple times will use multiple credits.
  • Send an email: 1 credit is deducted EVERY time you send an invoice via email (after free tier exhausted). Sending the same invoice to multiple recipients uses 1 credit per email.
  • Enable a payment button: 1 stripe_button credit is deducted once per invoice. Re-downloading or re-sending an invoice with a payment button does not consume additional payment button credits.

⚠️ Important: Credits are Per-Action, Not Per-Invoice

Each download or email consumes 1 credit. If you download the same invoice 3 times, 3 credits will be used. We recommend finalizing your invoice before downloading to conserve credits.

4. Credit Expiration

Credits do not expire. Once purchased, they remain in your account until used. There is no time limit on when you must use your credits.

5. After Credits Are Exhausted

When your credits reach zero:

  • You return to the free tier limits
  • New downloads and emails will include the InstantInvoice watermark
  • You can purchase additional credit packs at any time
  • Consider upgrading to Pro for unlimited access

Payment Processing

All payments are securely processed through Stripe. We accept:

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Debit cards
  • Apple Pay & Google Pay (where supported)

Pricing

  • All prices are in USD
  • Prices are one-time purchases, not subscriptions
  • No hidden fees or recurring charges

Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of credit packs:

  • Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if no credits have been used
  • Once any credit from a pack has been consumed, that pack is non-refundable
  • To request a refund, contact us at [email protected]

Account Requirements

To purchase and use credits, you must:

  • Have a registered InstantInvoice account
  • Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
  • Provide accurate billing information

Important Notes

  • Credits are non-transferable between accounts
  • Upgrading to Pro does not consume existing credits
  • Pro subscribers get unlimited everything (credits not needed)
  • Multiple credit packs can be purchased and stack together
  • Payment button credits require Stripe account connection
